About this resource
This initiative enables seniors to support other seniors in their community by helping with essential needs. Volunteers receive benefits such as an hourly stipend, transportation reimbursement, a yearly physical examination, and coverage for accidents or liability while on duty.
Who can use this
- Participants must be low-income seniors aged 55 or older, agree to volunteer at least 5 hours weekly, and can assist elderly individuals needing help with daily tasks, while there are no income restrictions for those seeking companionship.
