About this resource
This program provides subsidized housing for low-income families and elderly individuals. Applications for Section 8 will only be accepted when the waiting list is open, which is projected to occur in 2028 or 2029. The waiting list for Public Housing, available to those aged 62 and above, is always open. Additionally, a list of affordable or low-income rental options for Washington County is available at the office.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is determined by federal standards regarding income and family size, and applicants must pass a background check without a record of drug-related, violent, or sexual offenses.
