About this resource
This initiative provides financial aid for all public utility services via the TANF program for families with children under 18. An intake is required upon calling, and once accepted, unemployed participants will engage in the Employment Pathway Program offered by Department of Workforce Services Counselors. Eligible clients can receive a maximum of four payments within a year. This assistance is available to those who are also receiving rent payment support.
Who can use this
- Eligible families must have children under 18 and qualify through TANF, being U.S. citizens or authorized to work, willing and able to work, and demonstrate a temporary crisis lasting no longer than four months, while also receiving rent payment assistance.
