About this resource

This initiative supports individuals with disabilities in developing skills and accessing services that enable them to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Offered classes cover topics such as food preparation, training for low vision, coping with hearing loss, computer skills, First Aid, CPR, legislative advocacy, personal budgeting, affordable shopping, vacation planning, and other subjects upon request. Young adults with disabilities who are transitioning from high school to the workforce can participate in classes focusing on workplace and personal life skills.
