This service issues official birth certificates featuring a raised seal for the past 100 years. For records that are older than 100 years, individuals can request them through the Utah Division of Archives and Records Service office. Birth certificates serve multiple purposes, including school enrollment, participation in sports, applying for a driver's license, passport applications, retirement plans, social security benefits, and job applications.
Who can use this
- Vital records are restricted and can only be accessed by the individual named in the record, along with their parents, current spouse, siblings, children, grandparents, and grandchildren.
