About this resource
This initiative aids Washington state residents, including those legally residing in the state, by offering food assistance. The monthly benefits differ according to the household size, income levels, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) for an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the most recent disaster.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who fulfill income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
