About this resource

This initiative supports the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legally immigrated, by offering food benefits. The monthly benefit amounts are determined by the household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, vouchers are issued to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.

Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to request an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each individual listed on the application. To replace food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.

Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.

Who can use this

  • Residents of Washington state who fulfill the necessary income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
