Provides a venue as a cooling center during periods of extreme heat for individuals lacking air conditioning.
Intake Procedure: Attend in person. It is advisable to call or email beforehand to verify operational hours and ensure that the air conditioning is functioning properly.
Fees: None.
Who can use this
- Available for older and/or frail adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, parents with young children, and those with health issues that could be exacerbated by the heat. No one will be denied access.
