This initiative supports youth facing homelessness by ensuring they can thrive academically through transportation to their school of origin or by helping them enroll in a local school promptly.
Intake Process: Consult with a counselor at the student's local school or reach out to the district's homeless liaison.
Costs: None.
Who can use this
- Families or unaccompanied minors without a stable, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, including those temporarily sharing housing, living in motels or camps, using non-traditional sleeping places, residing in emergency shelters or transitional housing, or awaiting foster care placement.
