Dshs' Wenatchee Community Services Office
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides financial aid to low-income families, immigrants, refugees, pregnant women, and individuals who are elderly, blind, or disabled. The available programs include TANF/WorkFirst, AREN, Diversion Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and ABD.
To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the DSHS receives the online or paper application, they will send a letter outlining the interview requirements. Clients requiring urgent financial assistance should consult their case manager. Additionally, the phone service includes a callback option (virtual hold) where callers can provide their phone number and receive a return call when it is their turn. Callers may interact with multiple representatives; the first will be a navigator who assesses the call to determine the most suitable assistance for the caller's needs.
There are no fees associated with this service.
