About this resource
This initiative offers food benefits to assist Washington state residents, including those who are legally residing in the country, in enhancing their income. The monthly benefit amounts are determined by household size, income levels, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the latest disaster.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who satisfy the income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
