About this resource
The program offers Regional Reduced Fare Permits to senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders, enabling them to benefit from discounted public transportation fares in the Puget Sound region. Each transit agency establishes its own fare reduction policies.

Who can use this
- Individuals who can provide proof of specific conditions may qualify for a Permanent RRFP if they meet criteria such as having a permanent parking permit, being 65 or older, being certified by the Veterans Health Administration with a disability rating of 40% or more, or having a medical professional confirm their permanent disability. A temporary RRFP is available for those receiving Social Security disability benefits, Supplemental Security Income due to a disability, Medicare cardholders, holders of a valid ADA Paratransit card from another region, or those with a disabled parking permit issued by the Washington Department of Licensing.
