Who can use this
- According to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act, families or students are considered homeless and entitled to specific rights if they are in a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground; living on the street, in a 24-hour restaurant, or bus station; displaced by a disaster (natural or man-made) and residing in inadequate accommodations; staying with friends or relatives due to lack of affordable housing; or a teenager living independently while 'couch surfing.'
