About this resource
This initiative provides support to low-income families for their primary heating expenses, which may include electricity, oil, propane, firewood, pellets, or kerosene. The residence can either be owned or rented.
Application Process: Necessary application materials can be found online.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- To qualify, applicants must adhere to income guidelines, fill out an application, and provide all necessary documentation. All adults aged 18 and older must attend the appointment, even if they have no income. Proof of social security numbers for **ALL** household members is mandatory. Individuals over 18 who are still in school need to present a school ID. Tribal members must submit a denial letter from their tribe. Required documents must be provided during the appointment for the application to be processed. **Continue to pay energy bills**; having a disconnection notice or being currently disconnected will **not** prioritize your appointment.
