Who can use this
- To qualify, individuals must be classified as incapacitated by DSHS due to mental health issues, physical disabilities, or participation in a chemical dependency treatment program that restricts work ability, AND have no income OR be enrolled in the ABD (Aged, Blind and Disabled) program. DSHS will assess earned income and assets to ensure they fall within the income level guidelines, excluding certain government income programs (like SSI, SSDI, and TANF).
