Who can use this
- To qualify, individuals must be classified as incapacitated by DSHS due to mental health issues, physical disabilities, or participation in a chemical dependency treatment program that restricts their ability to work, AND have no income OR be enrolled in the ABD (Aged, Blind and Disabled) program. DSHS will assess earned income and assets to ensure they fall below the income level guidelines. Certain government income programs, such as SSI, SSDI, and TANF, are not eligible. Once DSHS approval is granted, priority is given to those who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing.
