About this resource
This program delivers a secure residential setting for short-term stabilization of youth aged 13-17 dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The usual duration of stay is between 30 to 45 days, and it also offers detox support in a safe environment with medical oversight.
Intake Process: A certification of need form must be filled out by an independent team, which includes a physician familiar with the youth's circumstances and qualified to diagnose and manage mental health issues.
Costs: The program accepts a variety of private insurance plans along with WA Apple Health (Medicaid).
Who can use this
- The program is designed for youth aged 13-17, including those with no substance use history, mild experimentation, or severe substance use issues, and participation is voluntary.
