Who can use this
- To be eligible for a tax deferral this year, applicants must own and live in their home, have owned it for at least five years, have a combined household disposable income under $57,000, pay the first half of their taxes, and the total deferral cannot surpass 40% of the owner's equity (proof required). There are no age or disability restrictions, and applications must be submitted to the Assessor's Office by September 1.
