About this resource
This service offers healthy lunches to older adults who are homebound. The menus are crafted to deliver at least one-third of the essential daily nutrients needed by older individuals. For those who need it, a DASH diet option is available.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can visit the website to complete a request form or call to inquire about eligibility.
Fees: There are no mandatory fees; participants are encouraged to contribute what they can. The price for each meal is $10.50.
Who can use this
- To qualify, participants must be 60 years or older (or the spouse of someone 60 or older), at risk of malnutrition, and unable to attend a Meals on Wheels People center.
