Who can use this

  • Individuals aged 62 and older who have sufficient work history to qualify for benefits. They can choose to retire at 62 for a reduced benefit or wait until 65 for full benefits. Certain family members of a deceased worker may also qualify for monthly benefits, including widows or widowers aged 60 or older (50 or older if disabled), those caring for the deceased's child under 16 or disabled, unmarried children under 18 or developmentally disabled, and dependent parents aged 62 or older.
