About this resource
This initiative supports youth experiencing homelessness by ensuring they can thrive academically through transportation arrangements to their previous school or by aiding in their swift enrollment in a nearby school.
Intake Procedure: Speak with a counselor at the student’s local school or contact the district's homeless liaison for assistance.
Fees: There are no charges associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants include families or unaccompanied minors without a stable, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, such as those temporarily sharing housing, living in motels or camps, using unsuitable places for sleeping, residing in emergency shelters or transitional housing, or awaiting foster care placement.
