This program offers continuous financial and medical assistance to families adopting children with special needs, following state and federal regulations.
Intake Procedure: Families should call, and the intake line can accept collect calls.
Fees: There are no charges involved.
Who can use this
- General adoption has no restrictions. For Special Needs Adoption: Families must have a child under 18 who is legally free (parental rights terminated), has special needs, is currently in state-funded foster care (or is eligible and likely to be placed in foster care), or qualifies for federal adoption assistance.
