The program evaluates the requirements of individuals who are blind or have low vision to enhance their independence by offering training in adaptive skills and suggesting suitable adaptive devices. It primarily assists those who are not looking for employment.

Who can use this
- To be eligible for the Independent Living Program, you must be at least 24 years old and experience vision loss or blindness that affects your ability to live independently at home. This program is designed for individuals who are not employed, not seeking work, or are in school or planning to attend school.
