For a replacement Social Security card, individuals can apply online or visit a field office. To utilize online services, users are required to create an account on the Social Security website.

Who can use this
- Individuals aged 62 and older who have sufficient work history to qualify for benefits. They can choose to retire at 62 for a reduced benefit or wait until 65 for the full amount. Certain family members may qualify for benefits from a deceased worker, which includes: a widow or widower aged 60 or older (50 or older if disabled), a widow or widower of any age caring for the deceased’s child under 16 or disabled, an unmarried child under 18 or developmentally disabled, and dependent parents aged 62 or older.
