Educational Service District 123
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides early intervention services for children aged from birth to 35 months who either show signs of developmental delays or possess a diagnosis that may contribute to such delays.
Intake Process: Referrals to the Birth-to-3 Program can be made by parents, families, childcare providers, and healthcare professionals when there are concerns regarding a child's development. Upon receiving a referral, the Early Intervention team will have a Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) reach out to the family within three days to collect additional information and help them complete a developmental screening. This screening will assist in deciding if further evaluation is necessary and whether the child might benefit from early intervention services. The program emphasizes the importance of parental input in its development and execution. The team collaborates with parents to create and implement a tailored program that meets the unique needs of each child and family.
Costs: The program accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), private insurance, and offers low-cost private payment options.
