About this resource
This program aids Washington state residents, including those who are legally immigrated, by offering food benefits to enhance their income. The monthly benefits differ based on household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers to replace food lost due to significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview process. A Social Security number is required for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for food replacement due to recent disasters.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is for individuals living in Washington state who satisfy income, resource, and citizenship or immigration status criteria, with income capped at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
