About this resource
This initiative supports youth facing homelessness in achieving educational success by arranging transportation to their previous school or aiding them in enrolling in a local school without unnecessary delays.
Intake Process: Consult with a counselor at the student's local school or contact the district's homeless liaison.
Cost: None.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include families or unaccompanied minors without a stable, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, such as those temporarily sharing housing, living in motels or campgrounds, using non-traditional sleeping locations, residing in emergency shelters or transitional housing, or awaiting foster care placement.
