About this resource

This initiative assists Washington state residents, including those with legal immigrant status, by offering food benefits to enhance their income. The monthly benefit amounts depend on factors such as household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can obtain an application by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO). Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. To replace food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.

Who can use this

  • Residents of Washington state who fulfill income, resource, and citizenship/alien status criteria, with income not exceeding 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
