About this resource
This initiative provides assistance to homeless families and students, including unaccompanied youth, to ensure they can continue their education.
Intake Process: Please call for more information.
Cost: No fees are required.
Who can use this
- According to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act, families or students qualify as homeless if they are in situations such as: * residing in a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground * living on the street, in a 24-hour restaurant, or bus station * displaced by a natural or manmade disaster (like floods, earthquakes, or fires) * staying in inadequate accommodations like a motel or abandoned building * living with friends or relatives due to lack of affordable housing * engaging in 'couch surfing' * teenagers living independently.
