This initiative supports homeless students in attending school and obtaining necessary resources for their success.
Intake Procedure: Each school district designates a "Homeless Liaison" responsible for aiding students in temporary living conditions. Reach out to your school district to connect with this individual for assistance.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Students are eligible if they are in situations such as: 1) Living on the streets, in vehicles, campgrounds, or other non-permanent shelters 2) Residing in community shelters 3) In transitional housing 4) Forced to share housing due to lack of permanent residence 5) Temporarily living with someone other than their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) 6) Abandoned 7) Asked to leave by their parent(s) 8) Runaways.
