Costs: Clients may need to pay a participation fee to access services, but those enrolled in WA Apple Health (Medicaid) can receive services without any fee.
Who can use this
- The program is tailored for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on care needs and financial status. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304 and countable resources not exceeding $2,000 for individuals, $57,547 for couples, or $123,600 for couples when one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Those exceeding resource limits may still qualify if they can meet the limits within a month of applying. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate an unmet need for help with at least two daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with one.
