This initiative supports youth facing homelessness in achieving educational success by arranging transportation to their previous school or aiding them in enrolling in a local school without unnecessary delays.
Intake Process: Speak with a counselor at the local school or contact the district's homeless liaison, Ashley Boyd.
Cost: No fees involved.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include families or unaccompanied minors without a stable, regular nighttime residence, which may include: - Sharing housing temporarily - Residing in motels or campgrounds due to lack of options - Using a public or private space not meant for sleeping - Staying in emergency shelters or transitional housing - Awaiting foster care placement.
