About this resource
This program provides nutritional support and educational resources for low-income pregnant individuals, new parents, infants, and children under the age of five. The monthly benefits are approximately $150 for a family of two, and during the summer, participants can receive extra vouchers for farmers markets.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should call or fill out an online form to check eligibility and schedule an appointment. Services can be provided at home, in the office, or at other locations. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to evaluate their nutritional needs. Dads, grandparents, and other caregivers are also welcome to enroll their children in WIC.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutritional risk are eligible, including pregnant or postpartum individuals, breastfeeding parents, infants, and children under five; those receiving Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or TANF may also qualify.
