About this resource
This program provides nutritional support and educational resources for low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children under the age of five. Families can receive benefits estimated at approximately $150 per month for a two-person household. Additionally, during the summer months, participants may obtain extra vouchers for farmers markets.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or fill out an online form to get information on eligibility and appointments. Services can be provided at home, in an office, or at other locations. A nutrition assessment will be conducted to evaluate nutritional risks. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers are also welcome to enroll their children in the WIC program.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutritional risk are eligible, including pregnant and postpartum individuals, breastfeeding parents, and children under five; those receiving Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or TANF may also qualify.
