Youth facing housing instability can achieve educational success by eliminating obstacles such as transportation and enrollment.
Intake Process: Speak with a McKinney-Vento representative at the student's school, reach out to the district's McKinney-Vento liaison, or submit an online referral.
Costs: None.
Who can use this
- Students without a stable, regular, and sufficient nighttime residence, which may include hotels, motels, vehicles, parks, public areas, abandoned structures, bus or train stations, transitional housing, emergency or domestic violence shelters, or those living temporarily with other families due to housing loss or affordability issues. This also includes students not in the physical custody of parents or guardians, such as unaccompanied youth.
