About this resource
This facility runs a 9-bed shelter specifically for single women aged 18 and above, allowing stays of up to three months. Interested individuals must call to undergo a screening interview before being placed on the waitlist; walk-in applications are not permitted. There are no fees associated with the shelter.
Who can use this
- Single women facing homelessness, aged 18 and above (no minors or family shelter), are eligible, but those fleeing domestic violence cannot be accommodated unless it has been six months since the situation ended. Clients must be able to perform activities of daily living and cannot have severe mental health issues, current substance abuse, violent criminal records, be more than six months pregnant, or bring pets or emotional support animals.
