About this resource
The initiative trains and places community volunteers in elementary schools to help young students build strong literacy skills. Volunteers work individually with students to enhance their learning pace.
Intake Procedure: Teachers at participating schools may refer students for assistance.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Provides one-on-one support to K-4th grade students whose literacy skills lag behind grade level benchmarks by one month to two and a half years.
