High school juniors and seniors have the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses that count towards their high school graduation requirements while also earning college credits.
Application Steps: Submit an application, successfully complete a placement test, and obtain approval from the high school.
Costs: Tuition and lab fees are covered by the student's school district, but students must pay for books and other student fees, which typically average around $100 per course. Highline provides a Running Start book assistance program for those who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program at their high school.
