This program helps homeless youth access education by arranging transportation to their original school or facilitating prompt enrollment in a nearby school.
Intake Process: Speak with the secretary at the student's local school or reach out to the district's homeless liaison.
Cost: None.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include families or unaccompanied minors without a stable nighttime residence, such as those temporarily sharing housing, living in motels or campgrounds, using non-traditional sleeping places, residing in emergency shelters or transitional housing, or awaiting foster care placement.
