This program provides a utility tax rebate for qualifying low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities residing in Federal Way.
Application Timeline: Applications can be submitted from January 1 to April 30 each year. Forms can be found on the website, at Federal Way City Hall, or can be requested via mail. Translations of the application are available in Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
Cost: There are no fees associated with the application.
Who can use this
- Must be a resident of Federal Way, aged 65 or older, or a person with a disability. The disability must have lasted for at least three months and hindered the ability to work. Income must not exceed 50% of the Area Median Income, and utility services must be registered in the applicant's name. It is essential to keep all utility bills from the calendar year.
