About this resource
This initiative offers food benefits to assist Washington state residents, including those who are legal immigrants, in supplementing their income. The monthly benefit amounts depend on the household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost due to significant disasters.
Application Process: Individuals can obtain an application by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO). After submitting an online or paper application, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. To replace food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.

- Residents of Washington state who fulfill specific income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
