Intake Process: Schedule an appointment by calling. Services are available at the clinic, in clients' homes, within the community, via phone, or through video calls. Family Ways allows participants to self-refer by calling or visiting their website.

Cost: There are no fees involved. Only WA Apple Health (Medicaid) is billed. Family Ways provides services free of charge without billing.

Who can use this

First Steps: Must be enrolled in or eligible for WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Nurse-Family Partnership: targets low-income pregnant individuals expecting their first child and their infants up to age 2. Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs: assists families with children aged birth to 18 who have complex health issues or newly diagnosed conditions needing support. Family Ways: welcomes all families identifying as part of three community groups (Native American/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian, and U.S. born Black/African American) who are pregnant or parenting children up to age 5, with no income restrictions. Participants must reside in King County.
