About this resource
This home-based therapy initiative delivers early intervention services to families and children aged from birth to 3 years who are experiencing developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability. The services are conducted in the child's familiar surroundings.
Intake Process: Referrals for children can be made by a pediatrician, neurologist, family doctor, public health nurse, or the child's parent.
Costs: The program accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and private insurance plans.
Who can use this
- Children from birth to 3 years old who exhibit a 25 percent developmental delay or are 1.5 standard deviations below the norm in any developmental area, as well as those with diagnosed physical or mental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down Syndrome, autism, and sensory impairments, may qualify.
