Dshs Community Services Office In King South
Community Resource
About this resource
This program provides financial support to low-income families, immigrants, refugees, pregnant women, and individuals who are elderly, blind, or disabled. The assistance programs offered include TANF/WorkFirst, AREN, Diversion Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and ABD.
To apply, you can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) for an application. Once your online or paper application is submitted, DSHS will send a letter outlining the interview requirements. If you are a DSHS client in need of emergency financial aid, you should consult your case manager. Additionally, the phone line features a callback option (virtual hold) where callers can provide their phone number and receive a call back when it is their turn. Callers may interact with multiple representatives; the first will be a navigator who assesses whether they can assist or if another specialist is better suited to address the caller's needs.
There are no fees associated with this service.
