The Family Law Orientation (FLO) consists of a set of videos available on YouTube that explain court processes, including relevant rules and resources.
Intake Procedure: You can register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/family-law-orientation-17454807311. The schedule for classes varies, and you can find it at the King County Clerk's Office, the Family Law Facilitator's office (Room W-280 in Seattle and Room 1D in Kent), or by contacting famlaworientation@kingcounty.gov via email.
Fees: The cost is $20, which may be reduced or waived based on income (verification is necessary).
Who can use this
- This orientation is required for individuals without legal representation involved in divorce, legal separation, or parenting plan modifications.
