This service issues several types of protective orders, including domestic violence protective/restraining orders, anti-harassment/stalking protection orders, sexual assault protection orders, and orders for vulnerable adults.

Intake Procedure: For more details, you can either call or visit in person. Civil Protection Order (CPO) hearings are conducted both in person and through Zoom. Fees: There are no associated fees.

Who can use this

Domestic Violence Protection Order: Available to individuals fearing violence from a family or household member, or who have experienced physical harm or threats of harm, including stalking. Sexual Assault Protection Order: For victims of non-consensual sexual conduct or penetration who do not qualify for a domestic violence order. Stalking/Anti-Harassment Order: For individuals who have been alarmed or harassed by conduct lacking a lawful purpose and do not qualify for a domestic violence order. Vulnerable Adult Protection Order: For individuals over 60 lacking the ability to care for themselves, or those over 18 who are incapacitated, have a developmental disability, or have received care from a licensed facility or personal aide.
