About this resource
This program offers nutritional support and education to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children under five, with benefits around $150 monthly for a family of two, plus summer farmers market vouchers.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can call or fill out an online form to learn about eligibility and schedule an appointment. Services can be provided at home, in the office, or at other locations. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to identify any nutritional risks. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers are also permitted to enroll their children in WIC.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and face nutritional risks, including pregnant or postpartum individuals and children under five, may qualify, especially if they receive Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or TANF.
