This initiative provides training and job opportunities for individuals with disabilities, requiring adherence to SKCAC's employment standards.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should call, email, or visit the website to arrange a meeting with a staff member from employment services to fill out an application.
Costs: Participants receive sponsorship from DSHS - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation or DSHS - Developmental Disabilities Administration, meaning services are free for eligible individuals, with fees covered by DDA or DVR.
Who can use this
- A referral from DSHS's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDD) or Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is required for funding. Individuals must be at least 18 years old for DVR services or 21 for DDD services. They should be able to communicate effectively and show a desire to enhance their work skills and behaviors, while demonstrating appropriate work conduct and having no safety concerns.
