About this resource
This program offers nutritional support and education to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children under five, with monthly benefits around $150 for a family of two and additional summer farmers market vouchers.
Intake Process: Interested individuals can call or fill out an online form for information regarding eligibility and appointments. Services can be provided at home, in the office, or at other locations. Applicants will undergo a nutrition assessment to evaluate their nutritional risk. Additionally, fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers can enroll their children in WIC.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutritional risk are eligible, including pregnant or postpartum individuals, breastfeeding parents, and children under five. Those receiving Basic Food benefits, WA Apple Health (Medicaid), or TANF may also qualify.
