Who can use this

There are no restrictions for obtaining pet licenses. King County requires licenses for dogs and cats that are at least 8 weeks old in most areas. To qualify for the senior/disabled discount, the pet owner must be 65 years or older or have a verified disability, and the pet must be altered. For service animals, the owner must have a documented disability and a statement confirming the animal's status as a service animal, which must also be altered. A service animal is defined as an animal trained to assist individuals with disabilities and registered with an authorized organization.
